The Theory Test can be taken before the CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) Course.

Before taking the motorcycle practical test you will have to have passed the Theory Test. To help you learn the theory there are books and DVDs available, also you can take an official practice Theory Test online HERE.

Practical Motorcycle Test

The new Practical test will come into force after April 27th 2009, it will be split into 2 modules.

Training for module 1 will have to be practised on a large area, fortunately we have a replica test site on our Bramcote Barracks training site.

Module 1 • a specified off road manoeuvres test. This will be taken on a safe off-road site.

Module 2 • a road riding test.
